Junior Hannah Butler placed fourth in women's 1-meter to highlight UCLA's first day hosting the 2022 Bruin Diving Invitational.

All three Bruin entries qualified for finals on Friday, with freshman Zoe Jespersgaard ultimately ending up in 10th place followed by a 16th place showing from fellow freshman Maya Salvitti.

Butler was one of just three divers in the competition to log a score above the Zones-qualifying mark (265.00) in both prelims and finals. She found herself in third-place after prelims with a score of 265.90, then upped her score to a 276.25 in the finals.

Salvitti posted a combined score of 451.70 on Friday, including a 242.00 in prelims. She was in a top-10 position for most of the prelims session.

Stanford placed the top-two finishers in the 1M finals in Carolina Sculti (625.70) and Daria Lenz (575.20).

Both posted lifetime-best scores during prelims, and the duo maintained their 5-6 position throughout the entirety of the finals session.
