USC Freshman Sean Wang Claims 3-Meter to Open Bruin Diving Invite

Trojan freshman Sean Wang won men's 3-meter while junior Nike Agunbiade took third on women's 1-meter to highlight USC's efforts on the opening day of the Bruin Diving Invitational on Friday (Jan. 14) in Westwood.

Wang finished with 819.50, 383.60 coming from prelims. Wang, who remains unbeaten on 3-meter this season, claimed the event with a 24-point margin of victory.

Junior All-American George Korovin finished sixth on 3-meter with 665.05, 361.25 coming from prelims.

Agunbiade led the Women of Troy with 551.15 points for third on 1-meter.  Freshman Grace Lee was ninth with 510.60 (250.05 coming from prelims).

Action continues tomorrow with men's platform and women's 3-meter at 10:30 a.m., prelims will be followed immediately by finals.
