Indoor Season in Full Swing Saturday

TEMPE - Sun Devil Track and Field is officially in full swing Saturday with the first full-squad indoor meet of the year. ASU competes in New Mexico's MLK Jr. Collegiate Invitational Saturday in Albuquerque, N.M. The meet will air via FloTrack.

The collegiate debut of Pan Am U20 Championships gold medalist Justin Robinson is expected to turn heads. He'll open the year alongside New Mexico-native Adriana Tatum who holds the No. 1 100m (11.60) and 200m (24.47) times in her home state. Jamar Marshall Jr. returns for his second year at ASU. He already holds the program 60m hurdle record (7.59) and finished fifth in the 100m dash at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. The sky's the limit this time around.
 
In the pole vault, 2021 indoor All-American and indoor program record holder (4.32m/14-2) Hayley Rayburn is set to compete alongside Sevanna Hanson who holds the fifth-place spot on the ASU all-time list. On the men's side, Michael Chadwick, who sits ninth all-time, will vault.
 
Aussie jumper Dylan James returns after a successful first year with the Maroon and Gold. In his first indoor season he lept to ninth all-time (15.46m/50-8.75) in the triple jump before going outdoors and finishing third in the LJ and fourth in the TJ at the Pac-12 Championships. Sydnee Larkin is back from injury this season and is eyeing the top of ASU's indoor triple jump records - she's currently sitting third (12.89m/42-3.5) and is just ahead of junior Christina Warren (12.61m/41-4.50).
