Sophomore Krando Nishiba's 3-over 75 led USC's final-round efforts while sophomore Shane Ffrench topped Troy's overall finishers with a tie for 31st during the final round of the Southwestern Invitational at North Ranch C.C. in Westlake Village, Calif., on Wednesday (Jan. 26).

The Trojans finished at 29-over 893 (299-287-307). Arizona State won the team title at 30-under 834.

Nishiba, in his first tournament of the season, took 40th at 10-over 226 (74-77-75) following a roller coaster of a round that saw seven birdies during a 3-over outing, including a 1-under front 9.

Ffrench tied for 31st at 6-over 222 (75-70-77), a season best effort.

Rivera, who flirted with the top 10 finish early in the round, fell outside the top 30 for the first time this season and tied for 34th at 7-over 223 (71-71-81).

Senior Cameron Henry tied for 46th at 13-over 229 (79-71-79) while junior transfer Parker Sisk, playing individually in his debut event as a Trojan, tied for 48th at 14-over 251 (74-74-82). Freshman Gavin Aurilia tied for 53rd at 16-over 232 (81-75-76).

USC returns to action at the John A. Burns Invitational in Lihue, Hawaii, Feb. 17-19.
