Pac-12 alums chase NFL dreams in college all-star games

SAN FRANCISCO - With the 2022 NFL Draft just a few months away, 37 Pac-12 alums will be on full display the next week across three prestigious college all-star games with all 12 schools represented. 

2021 Pat Tillman Defensive Player of the Year Devin Lloyd (Senior Bowl) is one of nine players who were 1st team All-Pac-12 last season who will compete this week with another nine from the 2nd team.

The action kicks off Saturday, Jan. 29 with the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl in the Rose Bowl with 11 former players. 

Pac-12 rushing champion B.J. Baylor is one of four running backs from the Conference of Champions looking to wow scouts in Pasadena that day with quarterback Chase Garbers the lone Pac-12 quarterback competing this week.

The head coaches for that game are current Arizona State special advisor Marvin Lewis and former USC defensive back Jeff Fisher.

20 Pac-12 stars will be competing on Thursday in the East West Shrine Game from Las Vegas.

Colorado linebackers Nate Landman and Carson Wells will share the field one last time for the East squad and the West team will have a heavy Arizona State influence with five former Sun Devils, including four on defense.

The final leg of the college all-star circuit will be Saturday, Feb. 5 for the annual Senior Bowl.

Utah's LB Devin Lloyd looks keep the run of recent success for Pac-12 stars in Mobile as two of the last five Senior Bowl MVPs have come from the Conference of Champions (2020- Justin Herbert, 2017- Davis Webb).

The NFL Draft combine will take place March 1-7 in Indianapolis, Ind., with the draft being in held in Las Vegas from April 28-30.
