CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State men's golf team is back on the course Thursday when the Beavers compete in the three-day Amer Ari Intercollegiate in Waimea, Hawai'i.
The tournament is the first for the Beavers since Nov. 10 when OSU completed the Saint Mary's Invitational at Pebble Beach, Calif.
The Beavers last competed in the Intercollegiate Feb. 2-4, 2021, taking third place in an eight-team field. Carson Barry finished with a 6-under 210 to place tied for seventh as the Beavers' top finisher.
FIELD (19): Oregon State, Hawai'i, Hawai'i-Hilo, Arizona State, Oklahoma State, Stanford, Oregon, Georgia Tech, UC Davis, Texas, Pepperdine, North Carolina, San Jose State, TCU, Texas Tech, Auburn, Pacific, UCLA and Washington.
COURSE: The tournament will be held at the par-72, 7,074-yard Hapuna Golf Course in Waimea, Hawai'i.
BEAVERS' LINEUP: Oregon State's lineup will consist of Nolan Thoroughgood, Carson Barry, Mateo Fuenmayor, Brandon Eyre and Jackson Lake. Carson Enright will compete as an individual.
FORMAT: Three-day, 54-hole tournament with 18 holes each on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The top-four individuals from each five-member team with the lowest scores for each 18-hole round constitute the scoring members for that given round.
TEE TIMES: The tournament will run with a shotgun format, starting at 9:30 a.m. PT time each day. That is a 7:30 a.m. start in Hawai'i.
