MEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Franco Capalbo, So., UTAH (Buenos Aires, Argentina)
- Playing at the No. 1 singles position, Utah's captain clinched the sixth straight victory for the Utes and went 4-0 on the week, earning the clinching point in both of Utah’s wins against UC Santa Barbara (4-1) and Loyola Marymount (4-3).
- The sophomore’s biggest win came in a knotted 3-3 match against LMU as he defeated Rana-Roop Bhullar (7-6 (4), 6-4) to lift the Utes to 6-0.
- Partnered with Bruno Caula, Capalbo took both doubles matches against UCSB (6-3) and LMU (6-4).

WOMEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Nika Zupancic, Sr., WASHINGTON (Otocec, Slovenia)
- Won a pair of singles and doubles matches against Denver and then-No. 4 UCLA to help Washington advance through the ITA Kickoff Weekend qualifying matches to make the ITA National Team Indoor Championships for the first time since 2011.
- Clinched the Huskies' first-ever road victory over the Bruins with a three-set upset of 49th-ranked Sasha Vagramov; the 4-3 win marked UW's first over UCLA since 2003 and just the third in program history.
- The upset marked her first singles win over a top-50 player.
- All four of Zupancic's wins were needed as Washington edged Denver, 4-3, in the first round before knocking off the Bruins.
- Now 5-0 in dual play, all at the No. 3 singles position.
