Women’s Soccer Sets Program Record with 14 on Academic Honor Roll

A program-record 14 members of the UCLA women's soccer team were selected to the Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll in 2021.

Senior and sociology major Lauren Brzykcy earned her third career academic award, while sophomore Jen Alvarado (political science), junior Jackie Gilday (physiological science), junior Kylie Kerr (psychology), redshirt sophomore Hannah Mitchell (international development studies), sophomore Kaila Novak (neuroscience), junior Brianne Riley (sociology) and junior Kali Trevithick (education) earned their second career honors. First-time honorees are sophomores Megan Edelman (undeclared), Jillian Martinez (undeclared), Michaela Rosenbaum (undeclared) and Reilyn Turner (undeclared), as well as redshirt freshmen Jordyn Gather (undeclared) and Kelly McManus (undeclared).

To be eligible for selection to the academic honor roll, a student-athlete must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.3 or above and have served at least one year in residence at the institution.

UCLA has had seven or more student-athletes earn Pac-12 academic honors every year since 2012.
