BOULDER — The Colorado lacrosse team's season opener Friday, February 11, against Louisville, has been moved up one hour and will now start at 2 p.m. at Kittredge Field, the University of Colorado athletic department announced Thursday.

The contest was originally slated for a 3 p.m. start, but due to the potential for inclement weather later in the afternoon, university officials and both teams made the call to move the start time.

This is the second meeting between the two teams and it is the first trip to Boulder for the Cardinals. The two met for the first time in Louisville to start the 2021 season, which went in favor of UL (12-9).

Colorado finished the 2021 season with an 8-7 record and was 4-3 in Pac-12 play. Louisville was 5-11 overall and recorded a 1-9 mark in ACC play.
