Chigaco, Ill. – Arizona Track and Field travels to Chicago for the Windy City Invititaional & Multis on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 11-12. The competition will start at 10:00 a.m MST on Friday with the high jump featuring Pac-12 leading jumper Talie Bonds. The running events kick off at 1:40 p.m. MST with the 5000m run.
37 athletes will compete in the Windy City, including Shannon Meisberger, Trayvion White-Austin, and Talie Bonds who are all within the top ten in the conference in their events.

The Wildcats split up last weekend, competing in the Ron Mann Classic in Flagstaff and the WSU Open and Invitational. In the Ron Mann Classic, Trayvion White-Austin placed second both the qualifying and final of the 60m dash with a 6.72 in his finals race. Freshman Carl Hicks topped the podium of the 400m dash at the Ron Mann Classic with a PR of 47.69.
At the WSU Open and Invitational, Jordan Geist won the Open competition in the men's weight throw with an impressive throw of 21.75m. Mackenna Orie threw a new PR in the women's shot put of 15.98m on the way to also breaking The Podium's arena record and placing first. Youssef Koudssi won the men's open shot put. Samantha Noennig threw in the women's invitational shot put today and came in first place with an amazing throw of 17.27m.
