Ntsabeleng Signs Contract with FC Dallas
FRISCO, Tex. - FC Dallas has signed Oregon State forward Tsiki Ntsabeleng to a one-year contract with club options for the 2023, 2024, and 2025 seasons, the club announced Friday. Ntasbeleng, who was the No. 28 overall pick of the 2022 MLS SuperDraft, will take an international roster spot. Ntsabeleng has appeared in two preseason matches for the club.
While at Oregon State, the Johannesburg, South Africa native started 25 of the 31 games he appeared in. Ntsabeleng scored five goals this fall, including two against Air Force on Aug. 30, as well as goals in back-to-back game from Nov. 7 to Nov. 11. He tallied 18 points this season, notching eight assists. Within the Pac-12 standings, Ntsabeleng finished the season second in the shots category (49), tied for third in the assists category (8), and tied for fourth in the points category (18). Ntsabeleng was named First Team All-Pac-12 and First Team All-Far West Region for his efforts on the pitch during the 2021 campaign.
The Beavers went 14-4-2 (7-1-2 Pac-12) in the fall, clinching the program's first Pac-12 title. Over the course of the regular season, Oregon State posted eight shutouts and tallied two more in the second and third rounds of the NCAA Tournament. OSU, tabbed the No. 1 overall seed in the tournament, advanced to its first Elite Eight appearance in program history.
