LOS ANGELES – Former Oregon State punter Johnny Hekker and the Los Angeles Rams are set for Super Bowl LVI Sunday at SoFi Stadium.
The game kicks off at 3:30 p.m. PT Sunday and will air live on NBC.
Hekker, who is in his 10th season with the Rams organization – and one of the last on the current team to have played in St. Louis – averaged 44.2 yards per punt during the regular season. He punted 51 times and landed 23 inside opponents' 20 yard line.
He has punted 10 times during the 2021-22 postseason, averaging 45.1 yards per kick.
With Hekker and the Rams playing on Sunday, at least one former Oregon State player has appeared on a Super Bowl roster for nine consecutive seasons.
