Bears Open Play At Lamkin Invitational

Sophomore Cristina Ochoa was at 6-over par before darkness suspended play Monday.

RANCHO SANTA FE – Sophomore Cristina Ochoa shot a 2-over par 74 in the second round of the Lamkin Invitational on Monday and is in a tie for 27th place out of 75 golfers at The Farms Golf Club.

Ochoa was one of only two Cal golfers to complete the second round before darkness suspended play on the par-72, 6,329-yard course outside San Diego. She stands at 6-over par overall for the tournament.

The second round will be completed Tuesday morning before the third and final round commences.

The Bears stand at 37-over par and are in 11th place out of 14 teams. Stanford leads the tournament at 2-under par.
