Ayo Oke Called Up To U.S. U-20 Roster

CHICAGO – Cal freshman Ayo Oke was named to the United States U-20 Roster for the upcoming 2022 Concacaf Women's Under-20 Championship. Oke has represented the United States at multiple age levels, including as a member of the U-20 team for multiple camps.
U.S. Under-20 Women's Youth National Team head coach Tracey Kevins selected a 20-player roster to represent the USA at the 2022 Concacaf Women's Under-20 Championship which will run from Feb. 25-March 12 in the Dominican Republic.
Oke completed her freshman season at Cal this past fall playing in 13 games and making 11 starts for the Bears. She played 798 minutes and tallied three points. Oke scored one goal, the game-winner, in Cal's win over Arizona State and was named to the All-Pac-12 Freshman Team.

"We are really excited for Ayo to represent the US in U-20 World Cup Qualification," Cal head coach Neil McGuire said. " She is an outstanding player who deserves to be on the world's stage." 
Oke has been a member of the U.S. youth setup at U-15, U-16, U-17 and U-18 age levels. She has represented the United States at tournaments in Germany, Sweden, Netherlands, Portugal, China and England in addition to tournaments throughout the United States.

The USA will take aim at one of three berths to the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup and a record seventh Concacaf Women's U-20 Championship after a dominant run to the confederation crown in 2020. The U-20s kick off the tournament on Friday, Feb. 25 vs. Nicaragua, take on Puerto Rico on Sunday, Feb. 27 and wrap up the group stage vs. host Dominican Republic on Tuesday, March 1.
Players born on or after Jan. 1, 2002, are age-eligible for the 2022 Concacaf Women's U-20 Championship.
