Feb 15, 2022

ATLANTA – For the second straight week, Utah Lacrosse has picked up the ASUN Offensive Player of the Week award with sophomore Tyler Bradbury earning the honor after his performance in Utah's 11-10 win over No. 17 Vermont. Bradbury was also selected to the USILA DI Team of the Week.

The sophomore joins Jordan Hyde and Samuel Cambere, who both won offensive and defensive players of the week for their performances against Denver as Utah's player of the week honorees this season.

Bradbury led the Utes in points, recording five on two goals and three assists, helping Utah to its first top 20 victory in program history. It was the second straight game he has scored two goals, also putting up two against Denver while his three assists against the Catamounts was a season-high.

He scored on two of his three shots on goal (.750) within a minute of each other in the third quarter, giving Utah an 8-3 lead. His first assist of the game came on a final second shot from Jordan Hyde to give the Utes a 4-3 advantage to end the first quarter while his final assist of the game came on the game winning goal from Josh Rose with 1:28 remaining on the clock.

It was the fifth time in his career he has recorded multiple goals and multiple assists in a game and the fourth time he has had five or more points in a match. The Oak Park, Calif., native is currently tied for first in the ASUN and 23rd nationally in assists per game (1.67).

Utah heads into its bye weekend before returning to the turf on Saturday, Feb. 26 when they travel to Milwaukee, Wis., to take on Marquette at 12 p.m. MT.
