Davis Scores Career-High 22 In Loss To Colorado
CORVALLIS, Ore. – Dashawn Davis led Oregon State with a career-high 22 points in a 90-64 loss to Colorado on Tuesday night at Gill Coliseum.
Davis went 9-for-17 from the field, 1-for-3 from beyond the arc and 3-for-3 from the free throw line for his 22 points. His previous career best was 17 points against Washington. He also had six assists to maintain his lead in the Pac-12 in that category.
Warith Alatishe had an excellent all-around game with eight points, five rebounds, five assists and five steals. The five dimes were a career high and the five steals equaled his career best.
Maurice Calloo scored nine points and grabbed five rebounds coming off the bench. Glenn Taylor Jr. finished with eight points, three rebounds and three assists
The Beavers had only seven scholarship players available. Dexter Akanno (hip), Rodrigue Andela (foot), Isaiah Johnson (concussion), Xzavier Malone-Key (back) and Tre' Williams all missed the game with injuries.
The Buffaloes (16-9, 8-7 Pac-12) were led by Jabari Walker who posted a double-double with 24 points and 15 rebounds.
The game was originally scheduled to be played on Jan. 1 but was postponed due to COVID-19 protocols within the Buffaloes' program
Oregon State (3-20, 1-12 Pac-12) will next play No. 3 Arizona at 4:30 p.m. PT on Thursday at the McKale Center in Tucson. The game will be televised on Pac-12 Network.
