Beavers Rowing Launches Spring Racing Season
CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State Rowing will celebrate the launch of the 2022 spring racing season with a virtual town hall webinar on Thursday Feb. 24 and the annual CRASH Beavs erg competition on Saturday Feb. 26.
The town hall program on Feb 24 will begin at 6:00pm PT via a zoom webinar that requires Registration. Hear from Head Coaches Kate Maxim & Gabe Winkler, senior athletes and additional guest speakers as the teams celebrate the upcoming spring racing season.
The town hall also features the Beaver Rowing annual fundraiser in the form of a virtual silent auction that will open Wednesday Feb 23 and close Saturday Feb 26 at 2:00pm PT. Check out the auction items and treat yourself while financially supporting the Beavs via this year's Virtual Auction
Saturday Feb 26 will mark the fifth annual CRASH Beavs erg competition, a unique showcase of athletes competing in a 2k erg race in heats of 8 athletes at a time. Action is set to begin Saturday Feb 26th in TRUAX Indoor Center at 11:00 am PT. Fans are encouraged to come cheer on the Beavers in person.
This in-person event will require masks and a negative test or vaccination record to enter the venue. Masks are to be worn the entire time by all guests.
For those unable to attend the in-person event in Corvallis – tune in for a live zoom webinar set to begin at 10:30am PT and cheer on the Beavs from near and far. CRASH Beavs Registration

The Men's team will launch into their first race of the season as part of the Lake Las Vegas Invite on March 5-6.
The Women's team will compete in their first race of the season on March 20 at Dexter Lake, Ore. hosting Washington State.
