Sam Thomas Named CoSIDA First Team Academic All-District

TUCSON, Ariz. – Sam Thomas was named First Team CoSIDA Academic All-District for district eight, CoSIDA announced on Thursday morning.
Thomas, a graduate student, currently holds a 4.0 GPA in Educational Leadership. The Las Vegas, Nev., native has picked up numerous academic honors during her Arizona career.
Last season, Thomas was named the Pac-12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year, the Elite 90 Award Winner and a CoSIDA First Team Academic All-American. She was also named to the Academic All-District Team in 2019.
This season, Thomas has already been named the female recipient of the Coach Wooden Citizenship Cup and is a Finalist for the Senior CLASS Award. Fans can vote for Am for the Senior CLASS Award here.
