Beavers Announce 2022 Outdoor Schedule

Feb 18, 2022

CORVALLIS, Ore. - The Oregon State women's track and field team announced its 2022 outdoor schedule on Friday. The Beavers' outdoor slate will be highlighted by two home meets at Whyte Track and Field Center in Corvallis.
"As our program continues to improve, it is both important to showcase our squad in Corvallis and also to increase our footprint with meets out of the area," said head coach Louie Quintana. "We are especially looking forward to competing in the two biggest championship meets on our schedule, the Pac-12 and NCAA Championships, in our home state.  We feel this schedule will set us up to optimize our opportunities to get as many of our athletes to the NCAA West Prelim in Fayetteville, Ark. in May."
The Beavers will jump into outdoor action on Mar. 5 with the Willamette Opener in Salem, Ore. Oregon State will then host the OSU Pacific Northwest Invitational on March 19.
Hitting the road, the Beavers will compete at the UC Riverside Spring Track Classic in Riverside, Calif. (Mar. 24-25) followed promptly by the Willamette Invitational in Salem, Ore. (Mar. 26). OSU will head to Eugene, Ore. for the Hayward Premiere, hosted by Oregon, on April 1-2 and the Distance Jamboree, hosted by Lane Community College, on April 2.
The Beavers will make a stop in Monmouth, Ore. for the John Knight Twilight (April 8-9) and will appear at the Mt. Sac Relays, which are scheduled for April 13-16 in Walnut, Calif. as well as the Lewis & Clark Invitational, slated for April 15-16 in Portland, Ore.
In Eugene, the Beavers will compete at the Oregon Relays (April 21-23), before returning to Corvallis to host the OSU High Performance Meet on April 29-30. The Orange and Black will wrap regular season competition at the Oregon Twilight meet in Eugene on May 6.
The Pac-12 Championships are scheduled for May 13-15 in Eugene, Ore. The NCAA West Prelims, which will be held in Fayetteville, Ark., are slated for May. 25-28. The NCAA Championships will be held in Eugene, Ore., June 8-10.
