Beavers to Host Senior Day Sunday vs. Cal

THE GAME: The Oregon State women's basketball team will host its annual Senior Day on Sunday, when California visits Gill Coliseum. The game is slated to tip at 12 p.m.

UP NEXT: The Beavers will wrap up the regular season next weekend when they head to the Mountains to face Utah and Colorado.

VS. CALIFORNIA: Oregon State is 39-38 all-time against California and has won nine-straight in the series, dating back to 2014. The team's last meeting came at the 2021 Pac-12 Tournament. Talia von Oelhoffen came off the bench to score 20 points in that contest.

QUICK HITTERS: 
- Oregon State will celebrate Senior Day on Sunday, as Tea Adams, Andrea Aquino, Emily Codding, Taya Corosdale, Ellie Mack and Jovana Subasic will all be honored pregame. Corosdale has one remaining year of eligibility, but has not yet decided whether or not she will return for her final season.
- The Beavers announced on Tuesday that they will take part in the Phil Knight Legacy Tournament next Thanksgiving in Portland. The four-team bracket also includes UConn, Iowa and Duke.
- Oregon State announced on Feb. 4 that head coach Scott Rueck has signed a contract extension running through the 2030-31 season
- The Beavers are 8-0 this season when scoring more than 70 points and 4-10 when scoring under 70.
- The Beavers are 10-5 when shooting 40 percent or better this season.
- Oregon State's Kennedy Brown and Taya Corosdale are both in the top-11 in the Pac-12 in blocks per game and rebounds per game.
- OSU was selected fourth in the Pac-12 Preseason Coaches Poll
- Oregon State won nine of its final 12 games during the 2020-21 season, with three of those victories coming over ranked opponents. All three of the Beavers' losses during that stretch game to teams that went on to play in the Final Four (Stanford twice, South Carolina).

GREAT SCOTT: Scott Rueck Quick Hitters 
- Signed a contract extension on Feb. 4 running through the end of the 2030-31 season.
- 2017 John R. Wooden Pac-12 Coach of the Year, becoming one of five coaches in conference history to win the honor multiple times.
- Record at Oregon State is 252-124 making him the second-winningest coach in Oregon State history. Aki Hill holds the Oregon State wins record with 274.
- Rueck engineered an accelerated turnaround at Oregon State, bringing the program into national prominence during tenure as head coach.
- Prior to joining Oregon State, Rueck served as head coach at George Fox in Newberg, Ore., where he built the program into a Division III national power, winning an NCAA title in 2009.
- Rueck's teams have consistently been known for outstanding defense. The Beavers have allowed 58.4 points per game over the course of his tenure. George Fox allowed just 48.3 points per contest in 2009-10, Rueck's final year there, and set a school record with 45.4 points allowed under Rueck in 2007-08.
- Has led teams to 16 postseason appearances, including seven NCAA Division I Tournaments with the Beavers.

I TALIA YOU WHAT: Talia von Oelhoffen Quick Hitters
- Narrowly missed recording the fifth triple-double in Oregon State history on Friday, going for 12 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists. That game marked career-highs for both rebounds and assists.
- Averaged 14.6 points and 6.4 rebounds per game, while shooting 52.1 percent from the floor over the Beavers stretch of five-straight games vs. ranked opponents.
- Scored 31 points vs. USC, becoming the seventh Beaver to score 30+ during Scott Rueck's tenure, joining Jamie Weisner, Marie Gulich, Alea Goodman, Ruth Hamblin, Kat Tudor and Destiny Slocum.

- Went 11-for-18 from the floor and 7-for-11 from beyond the arc over the Beavers' two games on Maui.

- Finished her high school career with 1,735 career points - the third highest total in Naperville North High School history, despite having her senior season cut short due to COVID-19.

RETURN OF THE MACK: Ellie Mack Quick Hitters
- Set Oregon State career-highs for points (19) and 3-pointers (5) on Friday vs. Oregon.

- Came to the Beavers as a graduate transfer from Bucknell last season, and was granted an extra year of eligibility to return this season due to the NCAA's COVID-19 policies.

- Was likely on her way to All-WCC honors during her junior year before her season was ended by injury. At the time Codding was averaging 14.7 points and 8.4 rebounds per game
- Earned WCC Player of the Week honors on Dec. 15, 2020 after scoring 27 points against Kansas.

- Oregon State announced on Feb. 4 that Jones will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing shoulder surgery. Jones has not seen action since Dec. 19.

- Is a career 40.2 percent 3-point shooter.
- Played in 31 games for the Cougars in 2019-20, making eight starts over the final 10 games of the season.
- Led WSU in blocks (30) and 3-point field goal percentage (40.0%)
- Competed for Serbia in the European Championships at the U-20, U-18 and U-16 levels, as well as the U-19 World Championships.

STILL AnDREa: Andrea Aquino Quick Hitters
- Has yet to see action for the Beavers.
- Joined Oregon State as the No. 7 rated recruit in the nation, the highest rated signee in program history.
- Averaged 17.1 points, 12.2 rebounds and 7.0 blocks per game during her 2016-17 high school season
- Didn't start playing basketball until the age of 15.

THE STAFF: Oregon State Assistant Coaches and Support Staff Quick Hitters
- Associate Head Coach Jonas Chatterton enters his eighth season with the Beavers after spending four seasons at Colorado.
- Assistant Coach Jenny Huth joins the Beavers this season. Huth previously served as head coach at Northern Colorado, and prior to that as an assistant coach at UCLA.
- Assistant Coach Deven Hunter enters her first season on the Oregon State staff. Hunter worked at San Diego prior to joining the Beavers, and was part of OSU's 2016 Final Four squad as a player.
- DOBO Olivia Murphy graduated from Oregon State, and is in her second year with the OSU staff
- Associate Athletic Trainer Jason Lieuw (code name Caboose) is the longest serving member of the Oregon State staff, currently in his 13th year with the team
- Voice of the Beavers Ron Callan has called 443 Oregon State women's basketball games since joining the program in the 2007-08 season, holding a record of 277-166 during that span.
