EUGENE, Ore. – The University of Oregon track and field team enters the final pre-NCAA weekend of competition with 16 top-25 national marks—nine women, seven men—including six efforts ranked in the top 10. The Ducks' weekend begins Friday with Pac-12 Indoor Invitational in Seattle. The two-day meet begins at 12 p.m. with the start of the heptathlon.
The top 16 declared individuals and 12 relays are scheduled to be announced Tuesday, March 1, ahead of the 2022 NCAA Indoor Championships (March 11-12) at the CrossPlex in Birmingham, Ala. The meet was previously held there in 2016 and 2019.

In addition to the Ducks competing at the Pac-12 Invitational, members of the UO distance crew will be racing Sunday afternoon at the BU Last Chance Meet. The meet will be streamed live by FloTrack.
Sophomore standout Alysah Hickey is tied for the national lead in the women's long jump by way of her school-record mark of 6.66m/21-10.25 at the Razorback Invitational (Jan. 28). Reigning NCAA champions Emmanuel Ihemeje (mTJ), Kemba Nelson (w60) and Micah Williams (m60) are all ranked within the top five for their respective specialties.
