Ainsley Radell and Ava Mann established an early rhythm as the duo won the first set 21-15 and took a 12-9 lead at the technical timeout over the Matadors. After dropping the first set 21-18, Lexi McKeown and Brooke Buchner responded in a hard-fought second set. The pair of high school All-Americans won the second set 24-22 and that momentum continued to the third set as they were able to capture a 15-9 victory and put the Bears up 2-0.
