Men’s Golf Back In Action In Las Vegas

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State makes a quick return to the course Monday when the Beavers open play in the three-day Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate, hosted by Coastal Carolina.
 
The Beavers are coming off a fifth-place finish at The Prestige last week in La Quinta, Calif. Carson Barry was one of just two golfers to finish under par. He took second place at 1-under par.
 
The Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate marks the Beavers' third event in the spring. The Beavers will have nearly three full weeks off from tournament play after the trip to Henderson.
 
FIELD (15): Oregon State, Coastal Carolina, Kentucky, High Point, UAB, Little Rock, West Virginia, Saint Mary's, Utah, Arkansas State, Louisiana, Michigan, Georgia State, UMKC, and Rocky Mountain College.
 
COURSE: The tournament will be held at the par-72, 7,204-yard Reflection Bay Golf Club in Henderson, Nev.
 
BEAVERS' LINEUP: Oregon State's lineup will consist of Brandon Eyre, Jackson Lake, Nolan Thoroughgood, Mateo Fuenmayor and Carson Barry.
 
FORMAT: Three-day, 54-hole tournament with 18 holes each on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The top-four individuals from each five-member team with the lowest scores for each 18-hole round constitute the scoring members for that given round.
 
TEE TIMES: The tournament will run via tee times each day.
 
LIVE SCORING: There will be live scoring for the tournament on golfstat.com.
