Men’s Tennis Downs Weber State, 4-0

SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah men's tennis team wrapped up their homestand on Saturday with a 4-0 victory over the Wildcats of Weber State. This is the 14th straight win of the season for the Utes.
Utah took charge during the doubles matches and secured the point. On court one, Franco Capalbo and Geronimo Espin Busleiman defeated the Wildcat duo 6-2. Soon after, Jayson Blando and Mathias Gavelin downed WSU's Bo-Han Li and Matteo Savio 6-2. Francisco Bastias and Bruno Caula were close to wrapping up on court two, but their match was unfinished.
The Utes faced some challenges moving into single play but managed to clinch the match and take the victory. The second match point came on court three, where the Wildcats Elyes Marouani retired due to injury in the second set. Espin Busleiman won the match with a score of 6-2, 2-0. 
The third point came on court four, where Caula earned the victory. He defeated Bo-Han Li 6-0, 6-2.
Soon after, Bastias awarded Utah the winning point on court two, winning 6-2, 6-3. On courts one, five, and six, the matches were unfinished.

The Utes return to action next Sunday, March 6, when they travel to San Diego, Calif., to face San Diego State and UC San Diego. Utah will face San Diego State at 10 a.m. MT and close the day against UC San Diego at 4 p.m. MT.
