Women’s Basketball Earns Sixth-Seed in Pac-12 Tournament

SAN FRANCISCO – The Utah women's basketball team has earned the No. 6-seed in the upcoming 2022 Pac-12 Women's Basketball Tournament, presented by New York Life, which ties the highest-ever finish for the Utes since joining the league. The Utes will take on Cal on Wednesday, March 2, in Las Vegas. Tip-off from the Michelob ULTRA Arena, is set for 9:30 p.m. MT and will air live on the Pac-12 Network.
 
Utah earned the No. 6 seed at the Pac-12 Tournament for the first time under head coach Lynne Roberts. The Utes finished league play going 8-7 during the 2021-22 regular season.
 
Utah comes into the Pac-12 Women's Basketball Tournament at 17-10 overall. The Utes matched up with Cal on Sunday, Feb. 13 in Berkeley. Utah earned an 80-75 overtime win. Gianna Kneepkens led the way with 21 points, seven coming in overtime.
