CORVALLIS, Ore. – Roman Silva scored a career-high 21 points and Dashawn Davis posted his first career double-double, but Oregon State lost an overtime thriller to Washington State, 103-97, on Monday night at Gill Coliseum.

Silva went 7-for-8 from the field and 7-for-7 from the free throw line for his career-best 21 points. His previous career high was 17 points at Oregon this past January.

Davis finished with 13 points and 11 assists for his first double-double in a Beaver uniform.

Jarod Lucas scored 16 of his 20 points in the second half, Maurice Calloo scored 15 of his 17 points in the first half and Glenn Taylor Jr. was the other Oregon State player in double figures with 10 points.

The Beavers shot 59.3% in the first half and built a 48-37 lead at the break. The 48 points were the most in either half this season.

Michael Flowers led Washington State (16-13, 9-9 Pac-12) with 27 points.

The Beavers had only eight scholarship players available for the third-straight game. Rodrigue Andela (foot), Isaiah Johnson (concussion), Xzavier Malone-Key (back) and Tre' Williams (knees) all missed the game with injuries.

Oregon State (3-25, 1-17 Pac-12) will play Washington State again in its next game, this time at 8 p.m. on Thursday at Beasley Coliseum in Pullman. The contest will be televised nationally on FS1.
