Men's Swimming Heads to Washington for Pac-12 Championships

Mar 1, 2022

SALT LAKE CITY- Utah men's swimming will get their turn at the Pac-12 Swimming Championships this week as they travel to Federal Way, Wash., to compete inside the Weyerhaeuser King Aquatic Center, March 2-5, the same venue the women competed at last week.

"The guys are excited about the meet and we are in a really good place to swim fast and perform well," interim head coach Jonas Persson said. "It's certainly a tough meet, but we've had success here before and we feel comfortable performing here again. We've had some fast swims this year and are in a great position to make NCAA's with relays and several swimmers, so the guys are extremely excited to get back in the pool."

Action will begin on Wednesday evening with the 200 medley and 800 free relays and will conclude on Saturday night with the finals for the 200 back, 100 free, 200 breast, 200 fly and 400 free relay.
