Freshman Jackson Rivera fired an even final-round - including going 3-under over the final six holes - to lead the USC men's golf team on the final day of the Southern Highlands Collegiate in Las Vegas on Tuesday (March 28).
USC finished 15th at 14-over 878 (288-296-294) in its first appearance at the event since the abrupt end of the 2020 season when the Trojans finished first.
Rivera, who also led the Trojans in four events this fall, tied for 32nd at 1-under 215 (71-72-72), getting back to par today with a birdie on his final hole. Rivera has still not finished outside the top 34 this season.
Sophomore Shane Ffrench (71-78-75) and senior Alex Ross (72-73-79) tied for 70th at 8-over 224, freshman Gavin Aurilia tied for 74th at 9-over 225 (77-73-75) and sophomore Krando Nishiba tied for 79th at 13-over 229 (74-83-72).
