Another Weekend Of Back-To-Back Meets For GymDawgs
SEATTLE, Wash.—The Washington gymnastics team is back for another action-packed weekend of competition.
First, the Huskies are facing BYU and Illinois State in Utah on Friday, March 4 at 6 p.m. PT. This meet was a late addition to the GymDawgs schedule, but will further improve their preparation come post-season.
Next, Washington will head back home to host Utah State and Stanford at 2 p.m. PT on Sunday, March 6 in Alaska Airlines Arena.
The Huskies are coming off their meet at UCLA where they scored a 194.300. They will look to improve on that score and put all four events together.
Against Utah, the GymDawgs scored a season-high 197.275, the 9th best team score in program history.
With Pac-12 Championships and NCAA Regionals looming, these final meets will be important for the GymDawgs to showcase their skillsets and consistency.
