The Wildcats lead the Cougars by nine matches and Arizona looks to continue this lead as they play in their first conference match of the spring season. The Cats have not won a match against Washington State since 2018. 

Arizona has not won a match against Washington since 2015 and this will be the first match played in Tucson, Ariz. between the two programs since 2018. The Wildcats aim to add another win to the series against the Huskies. 

This will only be the second matchup between the Wildcats and the Rams, and the first match since 2015. The Cats look to add another win to the series and their spring season as they play CSU on Tucson turf for the first time ever.

Weekend Away - Arizona defeated the University of Alabama (previously No. 26) 4-3 in the final round of the Blue Gray Classic. The Wildcats lost the first round to Texas Tech (previously No. 24) but swept Troy University 4-0 in the second round. The Cats came in at No. 44 in the ITA rankings which came out Wednesday, March 2. 

Conference Play - The Wildcats begin conference play this weekend with two matches against Washington State and the University of Washington. Arizona takes on the Cougars Friday, March 4 at 11 a.m. and the Huskies on Saturday, March 5 at noon. 

Coming Up - Following Arizona's first two conference matches is another match against Colorado State on Sunday, March 6. Then the women head to California for three more matches against Loyola Marymount, UCLA and USC.
