Arizona Adds Another Recruit

Tucson, Ariz. - Arizona Men's Tennis is pleased to announce that newly signed recruit Eric Padgham from Australia will be joining the Wildcat family in the fall of 2022. 

Padgham has a UTR of 12 and comes in at the No. 352 spot in the ITF Junior world ranks. 

Speaking of the team's latest signee, head coach Clancy Shields said: "I'm so happy to announce the signing of Eric Padgham. From our first conversation, I felt like he fit our program perfectly. He has a unique and talented skill-set coupled with also being the ultimate team player."

"He is a natural leader and will help our program on and off the court. I'm excited to start working with him and to add his dynamic personality to our team," Shields said. 

Padgham shares Clancy's excitement and is eager to begin his collegiate career with the Cats. 

"The aura around the campus, as well as the connection with the coaches and team, drove me to become a proud Wildcat and I can't wait to start battling with this team," Padgham said. "BEAR DOWN BABY!"
