USC's Isaiah Mobley, Drew Peterson Named First-Team Pac-12 Men's Basketball All-Conference
USC junior forward Isaiah Mobley and senior guard Drew Peterson were named to the 2022 Pac-12 All-Conference first team it was announced by the Conference today (March 8). Additionally, Boogie Ellis was named honorable mention All-Pac-12 and Mobley was named honorable mention to the Pac-12 All-Defensive Team.
Mobley leads the Trojans in scoring at 14.6 points per game and with 8.5 rebounds per game. He ranks sixth in the Pac-12 in scoring and second in rebounding per game. Mobley has scored 20 or more points six times, tallied double-figures in 23 of 29 games and registered eight or more rebounds in 17 games. Mobley also is tied for first among Trojans with 27 blocks and tied for second in steals with 23.
Peterson is second in scoring among Trojans at 12.5 points per game and tied for second in rebounding at 6.4 boards per game. Peterson also leads USC with 106 assists, is tied for second in steals with 23 and is third in blocks with 26. Peterson is one of two players to start all 31 games for the Trojans this season. Peterson ranks 13th in scoring, eighth in rebounding, fourth in defensive rebounds per game (5.2),eighth in assists (106) and 15th in blocks among Pac-12 players. Peterson has also made 44 three-pointers and his 41.5 shooting percentage from beyond the arc ranks third among Pac-12 players.
Ellis is USC's third-leading scorer at 12.2 points per game and leads the Trojans with 47 three-pointers made. He has started all 30 games he has played for USC this season and has scored at least 14 points in 14 of them. Ellis is the Trojans' leader in steals with 26.
