LMU Lions Defeat Wildcats 4-0

Los Angeles - No. 51 Arizona took a tough loss against No. 27 Loyola Marymount in a 4-0 sweep for the Lions. 

The Cats were unsuccessful in securing the doubles point or any singles points. 

First off for doubles was Veronika Miroshnichenko and Stefania Rogozinska-Dzik who defeated Parker Fry and Kirsten Prelle 6-4. LMU finalized the doubles point after Belen Nevenhoven and Midori Castillo lost 7-5 against Ulyana Shirokova and Eva Marie Voracek. 

Only three Wildcats finished in singles play. Fry finished first with a 1-6, 1-6 loss against Rogozinska-Dzik, and Salma Ziouti was next off the court after a 3-6, 1-6 upset against Miroshnichenko. Nevenhoven finished last for the Cats with a 3-6, 2-6 defeat against Shirokova. 

The Wildcats remain in California for two more matches against No. 14 UCLA on Friday, March 11, and No. 20 USC on Saturday, March 12.
