Arizona Falls 4-0 to UCLA

Los Angeles - No. 51 Arizona lose 4-0 to No. 14 UCLA in their third conference match of the spring season.

Arizona lost the doubles point against the Bruins in the afternoon match. Freshmen duo Midori Castillo and Belen Nevenhoven finished first on court three 0-6 against Kimmie Hance and Sasha Vagramov. Elysia Bolton and Vanessa Ong finalized the doubles point for UCLA after defeating Kirsten Prelle and Lexi Ryngler 6-3 on court two. 

UCLA won the match after taking three singles points. Ryngler finished first in singles for the Cats dropping 6-1, 6-2 to No. 69 Bolton. Castillo was next with a 3-6 loss in two straight sets against No. 115 Kimmie Hance. Ong finalized the win for the Bruins after a 6-2, 6-4 win over Khim Iglupas. 

The Wildcats will complete their California road trip with another conference match against No. 20 USC on Saturday, March 12. Then they are back at home for a midweek doubleheader against Drake University and Grand Canyon University on Tuesday, March 15.
