TUCSON, Ariz. -- Former Arizona Wildcat Jill Aguilera has been named to the official 2022 Chicago Red Stars roster as a midfielder after having her playing rights acquired in the Fall of 2020.

In her five seasons as a Wildcat she led Arizona to new heights and topped program records. Her most notable record came in her final match at Arizona where she broke the program record for career goals placing her in first place with 33 goals. That match also signified her 92nd game, the most in program history by eight. She finished in the top 10 of eleven program records with over half (7) being top five finishes and had a career with 33 goals, 15 assists, 81 points and over 5,000 minutes on the pitch making her one of the all time Arizona greats.

Over her five seasons she received seven Pac-12, four CoSIDA, and one United Soccer Coaches honors while also being nominated for NCAA Woman of the year. Aguilera is only the second athlete in program history to receive a CoSIDA All-American First Team honor and the first to receive multiple CoSIDA All-America recognitions.

Aguilera is one of six rookies being named to the 26 player official Chicago Red Stars roster ahead of the 2022 National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) Challenge Cup.
