USC Beach Volleyball's Tina Graudina and Hailey Harward Named Pac-12 Pair of the Week
SAN FRANCISCO Calif. – USC beach volleyball senior Tina Graudina (Jurmala, Latvia) and graduate Hailey Harward (Phoenix, Ariz.) were named the Pac-12's Pair of the Week for the week of March 7-13, the Conference announced on Tuesday, March 15.
The duo went 4-0 at the No. 1 position and delivered the clinching point twice to help the Women of Troy also go 4-0 at the Stetson Sun-N-Sand Invitational in DeLand, Fla. Graudina-Harward improved to 8-1 overall and pushed their active winning streak to seven matches.
Graudina-Harward earned a straight-set win over Maddie Anderson and Brook Bauer of Florida State, 21-12, 21-13, to open the weekend and then fought off a first-set loss to Erica Brok and Mackenzie Morris of Florida Atlantic to win, 18-21, 21-18, 15-12. They then got a 21-19, 21-13 win over Tampa's Julia Oswald and Rachel Rosequist before rounding out the tourney with a 21-15, 21-12 victory against Shae Henson and Kylie Neuschaeferova of Stetson.
Graudina earns her seventh-career Pac-12 Pair of the Week honor, having won once as a freshman in 2018 with Abril Bustamante and two more times with Bustamante as a sophomore in 2019. In 2021, she won the honor twice with Sammy Slater and once with Megan Kraft. Harward receives her second-career weekly award after winning once in 2021 with Julia Scoles. It is the 23rd time that a USC pair has been chosen for the award; the most all-time among Pac-12 schools.
