Ducks Open Pac-12 Play at Utah
Oregon brings an 11-game winning streak into the 2022 Pac-12 opening series this weekend at Utah. After the games with the Utes, the Ducks will stay in the Beehive State for a single game Monday at BYU. Oregon leads the series with Utah, 26-12. The Ducks hold an 11-4 edge in the series with the Cougars.
The first four hitters in Oregon's lineup - Allee Bunker, Hanna Delgado, KK Humphreys and Vallery Wong - have combined for 18 home runs and 80 RBI. Collectively, they are batting .410.
Eight of Oregon's nine starters hit .400 or better last weekend versus Portland State and North Dakota State. Valley Wong and Hannah Galey both hit . 571, Followed by Hanna Delgado at .500, Ariel Calrson, KK Humphreys and Paige Sinicki at .444, Gabby Herrera at .429 and Allee Bunker at .400. Wong and Bunker led the way with seven RBI, Delgado had three doubles, Wong hit two home runs and Bunker had a grand slam.
After five weeks of play in 2022, the Ducks lead the Pac-12 and rank 11th nationally in fielding percentage (.981).
Nearly half of Oregon's runs (77-of-168) have been scored after two outs in an inning.
