Nine USC Men’s Water Polo Players Earn ACWPC All-Academic Team Honors
Nine members of the USC men's water polo team have secured their spots on the 2021 Fall All-Academic Team, as announced by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches. For seven Trojans, it's yet another round of academic honors to go with earlier accolades earned from the ACWPC. A grad transfer who has spent two seasons at USC, Wyatt Barker now has a grand total of five such selections, while senior Alexander Lansill closes out his USC career as a four-time honoree.
This season's stack of nine All-Academic Trojans all earned their place on the ACWPC honor roll with cumulative GPAs of 3.20 or higher. In addition to Barker and Lansill's collection of awards, three other Trojans are now three-time honorees — seniors Matt Harrison and Bennett Winther and junior Marcus Longton. Juniors Chris Sturtevant and Henry Saunders, meanwhile, have each snagged their second round of honors. And joining the group for the first time are freshman Luka Brnetic and redshirt freshman Blake Jackson.
