UW Men Ready To Host WSU In Dual

The Washington men's rowing team opens up the spring season in earnest this Saturday morning as the Huskies take on Washington State in five races on Montlake Cut.
 
The Huskies will race their third varsity eight and freshman eight vs. the Cougars at 9:00 and 9:10 a.m., before each team races four different fours over two races. The same oarsmen who will race in the eights will also compete in the fours.
 
Here is the racing schedule for Saturday morning:
 
9:00 a.m. PT – UW 3V8+ vs. WSU V8+
9:10 a.m. PT – UW F8+ vs. WSU 1N8+ & 2N8+
10:00 a.m. PT – UW V4+ A & B vs. WSU V4+ A & B
10:10 a.m. PT – UW V4+ C & D vs. WSU V4+ C & D
 
There will not be any video coverage of the UW-WSU dual, but fans can follow the action on Twitter (@UW_Rowing). Live results are available at HereNow.com.
 
The UW men opened the season last Saturday with the 121st Class Day Regatta, when the seniors took home the George M. Varnell Trophy. 
 
The following Saturday, the Huskies are once again at home, playing host to Pac-12 rivals Oregon State and Stanford while also hosting the Husky Open along with the UW women.
