No. 17 USC Women’s Tennis Visits Northern California for Road Matches Against No. 19 Stanford & No. 14 California

THIS WEEK
The USC women's tennis team resumes Pac-12 Conference play with a trip to the Bay Area to challenge #19 Stanford in Palo Alto on Friday (Mar. 25) at 1:30 p.m. PST at the Taube Family Tennis Center, & #14 California in Berkeley on Saturday (Mar. 26) at 12 p.m. PST at the Hellman Tennis Complex.
 
ORACLE/ITA RANKINGS UPDATES
In the most recent ITA team rankings (March 22), the Women of Troy bumped up one position, to No. 17.
 
The ITA released new singles and doubles rankings on March 23 and four Trojans hold national ranks. No. 6 Eryn Cayetano, No. 41 Salma Ewing, No. 77 Snow Han and No. 78 Naomi Cheong. Cheong enters the rankings for the first time since her return to the court less than three weeks ago.
 
The Trojans also have two ranked duos - No. 30 Salma Ewing / Snow Han and No. 64 Eryn Cayetano/Grace Piper.

SCOUTING STANFORD
No. 19 Stanford is 9-2 on the season and 3-0 in conference play. They currently boast three ranked singles - No. 13 Connie Ma, No. 18 Alexandra Yepifanova and No. 87 Valencia Xu. They also have the No. 7 ranked duo of Angelica Blake/Connie Ma.
 
SCOUTING CAL
The #14 Golden Bears are 9-5 overall and 3-0 in conference play, having defeated Oregon, Utah and Colorado so far this season. Three Golden Bears appeared in the ITA's most recent rankings - #62 Jessica Alsola, #101 Haley Giavara, #122 Katja Wiersholm. Cal also boasts two ranked duos – No. 29 Jessica Alsola/Katja Wiersholm and No. 35 Haley Giavara/Valentina Ivanov.
