TEMPE – Sun Devil Men's Tennis will be back in action Saturday at 2:00 pm down in Tucson against No. 19 Arizona for the second match of conference play. ASU rolls into Tucson led by No. 25 Murphy Cassone and No. 87 Fabien Salle.

The Sun Devils dropped their first match of Pac-12 play to No. 14 USC after a close one, ending with a final score of 3-4. The Trojans' #14 ranked pair Stefan Dostanic and Bradley Frye were able to defeat ASU's #49 ranked duo consisting of Max McKennon and Fabien Salle. ASU Fabien Salle dropped his court to Stefan Dostanic. Max McKennon was able to put some points on the board for the Sun Devils when he took a 6-3, 6-4 decision over USC's Wojtek Marek. George Stoupe and #28 Murphy Cassone were able to take their courts with 10-point tiebreakers resulting in wins against Ryder Jackson and #30 Peter Makk.
Scouting the Wildcats
Arizona's last win came against the Trojans with a final score of 4-3. Two of their doubles pairs had to go into tiebreakers for the final decision, but they dropped the point. No. 80 Jonas Ziverts took down his Trojan opponent in two straight 6-4, 6-4 sets. No. 74 ranked Herman Hoeyeraal gave the Cats some cushion when he took his court 6-3, 2-6, and 6-1. Wildcat Nick Lagaev won his court against No. 70 Lodewijk Weststrate, putting him on a six-game win streak.

Arizona State will continue Pac-12 play on April 1st against No. 32 California in Tempe at 6:00 p.m. The Golden Bears are sitting at a 10-3 record, but they will take on UCLA and USC before heading into Tempe.
