Challenging Field Awaits at Pac-12 South

EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon beach volleyball team gets its first taste of conference play with the Pac-12 South Invitational in Tucson, Ariz. The Ducks open play Saturday morning against No. 8 Stanford, its first of two ranked opponents of the weekend. Oregon carries a 7-4 record this season, one win shy of tying the program's single-season high.

The Pac-12 South Invitational will be televised on Pac-12 Mountain with Anne Marie Anderson, Nicole Branagh, Camryn Irwin and Holly McPeak handling the commentary duties.

Last Time Out
The Ducks finished their weekend in San Jose (March 18-19) with a 2-2 record, picking up victories over Sacramento State and San Francisco. Oregon also suffered a pair of 3-2 setbacks to host San Jose State and Saint Mary's. The duo of Alex Laita and Bea Wetton went 3-0 in the No. 3 spot during the San Jose road trip; the pair is 6-1 this season overall.
 
Holding It Down
The UO team of Ally Haden and Savannah Siegrist have collected a team-leading eight wins, and earlier this season enjoyed a six-match winning streak. Overall, the Ducks' No. 5 pair is 8-2 entering the Pac-12 South Invite. The team's two losses have both been in three sets.
 
Nuneviller Continues National Team Training
Two-time indoor All-American Brooke Nuneviller was invited to attend the USA Women's National Team Spring Training Camp (March 5-12) in Anaheim, Calif. She is one of several currently collegians invited to compete and train under the National Team coaching staff. Nuneviller and Reagan Hope own a 6-1 mark in the No. 1 spot entering the Pac-12 South weekend
 
Welcome, Coach Dillard
Jason Dillard was named head coach of Oregon Beach Volleyball in September 2021. He spent 18 years as the director and head coach of the Goldenwest Volleyball Club (GWVBC), a program that produced nearly 250 college players including 93 at the Division I level. Dillard also spent 12 seasons (2006-17) at Fullerton College with previous Division I experience at UC Riverside (2004-05).
 
What's Next?
Following the Pac-12 South Invitational, the Ducks will make the trip from Tucson to Phoenix to take on No. 7 Grand Canyon. First serve of that matchup is scheduled for 9 a.m.
