Mar 25, 2022

BOWLING GREEN, OHIO – Cal sophomore Andi Li was named a WCGA Regular Season Second Team All-American for her performances on uneven bars.
This is the second straight year that Li has been named a Regular Season All-American, also earning second team honors in 2021. This year, Li posted an NQS of 9.935 on uneven bars and ranks 11th in the country. She ranked 11th on the uneven bars in 2021 as well, but her NQS was at 9.925.
By winning All-American honors in back-to-back seasons, Li joins select company amongst Cal gymnasts as she joins Toni-Ann Williams and Kyana George in becoming the only multi-year WCGA Regular Season All-Americans. Williams accomplished the feat in 2015, 2016 and 2018 while George earned the honors in 2020 and 2021.
Li has five event wins on uneven bars this year and took second place in the event at the Pac-12 Championship. She has posted a 9.925 score or better seven times this year. Li has 24 top-three finishes, nine event wins and 18 scores at 9.90 or above this year.
The Aurora, Illinois native was recently named to the All-Pac-12 team on three events, earning first team honors on uneven bars and the all-around as well as honorable mention on floor exercise. She was one of five Bears honored who combined to win eight awards from the conference.
Student-athletes with the top eight National Qualifying Scores (NQS) for the regular season (with ties), for each event plus the all-around earned All-America honors. Second team All-America honors are earned by student-athletes ranked Nos. 9-16 (with ties) in the NQS.
