No. 6 USC Men's Volleyball to Challenge Concordia in Two Conference Matches

This week, the No. 6 USC men's volleyball team (17-6), coming off a pair of losses to crosstown rival and No. 1 ranked UCLA, will attempt to bounce back with two matches against Concordia (10-12). The Trojans will first challenge the Eagles on Friday (Apr. 8) at 7 p.m. PT in the Galen Center Pavilion on Senior Night. Then, USC will travel south to Irvine, Calif. for a rematch against Concordia on Saturday (Apr. 9) at 7 p.m. PT.

Friday's match in the Galen Center Pavilion will be free admission.

USC is ranked 6th in the current AVCA Division I-II Top 15 poll, while Concordia is unranked.

As a team, USC is in the Top 10 nationally in three statistical categories: fifth in hitting percentage (.337, third in MPSF), seventh in assists (12.13 per set, and third in MPSF) and ninth in kills (12.73 per set, fourth in MPSF).

The Trojans are 9-6 all-time against the Eagles dating back to their first meeting in 2014.   

Before Friday's home match, USC's seniors will be honored. Chris Hall, Cole Paxson, Brandon Browning, Sam Kobrine, Liam Schroeder and Jameson McKibbin will receive special recognition for their contributions to the Trojan program.
