Wilson Paces Trio of Bruins at Silverado Showdown

NAPA, Calif. – Annabel Wilson paced a trio of Bruins with a 15-over 231 finish at the Silverado Showdown hosted on the Silverado Resort North Course on Wednesday. Also competing for the No. 15 UCLA women's golf team was Yuki Yoshihara and Emilie Paltrinieri.
 
Arizona State's Alessandra Fanali won the individual title with a 7-under 209.
 
Wilson tied for 61st following a 4-over 76 with two birdies on the par-4 1st and par-4 17th in round two and a 3-over 75 in round three.
 
Yoshihara tied for 66th in the 90-person field at 17-over 233. Yoshihara recorded her best score of the tournament on day two with a 3-over 75. She notched a 8-over 80 on day three.
 
Paltrinieri tied for 75th at 19-over 235 after recording a 5-over 77 and two birdies in round two and a 8-over 80 with another pair of birdies in round three.
 
The Bruins compete in their final regular-season tournament later this week at the Chambers Bay Invitational in University Place, Wash., beginning Sunday, April 10, and ending Tuesday, April 12. Starting lineups and live scoring links will be presented in the coming days.
