EUGENE, Ore. — Jacob Walsh and Anthony Hall both hit go-ahead home runs before the Ducks tacked on five eighth-inning runs to pull away from Ball State in a 13-7 nonconference win at PK Park on Friday night.

The Cardinals rallied to take the lead scoring four runs in the top of the fifth, but Oregon responded with three of its own in the bottom half of the inning to regain the lead.
Tanner Smith led off the inning with a hit, moved to second on a balk and advanced to third on a Colby Shade fly out to center field. Brennan Milone tied the game with a RBI single scoring Smith. Walsh followed with a two-run home run over the right-field wall giving the Ducks a 6-4 lead.
Ball State tied it with a single runs in both the sixth and seventh, setting the stage for Hall's heroics. The Ducks right fielder hit a 3-1 pitch over the right-field wall scoring Kasevich who reached on a two-out walk.
