MEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Clement Chidekh, Jr., WASHINGTON (Lyon, France)
- Playing at the No. 1 singles position, sixth-ranked Chidekh beat three ranked Pac-12 opponents, all in straight sets, and added a pair of doubles victories.
- Partnered with Nedim Suko, the duo clinched the doubles point during Washington's 4-0 sweep of Oregon with a 6-2 win on court No. 2.
- Defeated 90th-ranked Joshua Charlton (6-2, 6-0) as part of Huskies' sweep of the Ducks.
- Provided UW's point in a 4-1 loss at nationally ranked Stanford, defeating 110th-ranked Axel Geller (6-3, 7-5) in a matchup between 2021 All-Pac-12 First Team selections.
- Helped UW jump out to a 3-1 lead in eventual 4-3 loss at nationally ranked California, clinching the doubles point with a 6-2 win on court two and sweeping 105th-ranked Yuta Kikuchi (6-2, 6-3).

WOMEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Michaela Bayerlova, 5th, WASHINGTON STATE (Krumbach, Germany)
- Went 2-0 in singles and 1-1 in doubles, all against nationally-ranked players/teams.
- Defeated No. 92 Haley Giavara in straight-sets to give WSU one of its two singles wins against No. 9 California.
- Teamed with Maxine Murphy for a clinching 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles over the Golden Bears' No. 33-ranked duo of Jessica Alsola and Katja Wiersholm.
- Against Stanford, Bayerlova secured WSU’s only point, defeating the nation’s 14th-ranked player, Connie Ma, in straight sets (6-2, 6-4).
- Her win against Ma completed a Bay Area sweep for Bayerlova as she improved to 16-2 on the season, 6-1 in Pac-12 play and 5-1 against nationally-ranked players. She has won eight of her last nine matches, five against nationally ranked players.
