The Series
The Oregon Ducks come to town this weekend for a rare Thursday night start to a three-game series. The Ducks have won seven of their last 12, yet only three of their last seven after being swept two series ago at UCLA. They took three of four last weekend versus Ball State. Despite Oregon's impressive overall record, they only have one more win in Pac-12 play and would flip flop in the standings with a Husky sweep. Fans at the ballpark can look forward to celebrating Decades on the Diamond.

How To Follow
Games One and Two will be streamed via Pac-12 Networks on Thursday (https://gohski.es/3xmcUja) and Friday (https://gohski.es/3E7oNe5). Game Three on Saturday can be viewed on Pac-12 Washington (https://gohski.es/3xsaAXV). Live stats will be available via GoHuskies.com and fans can also follow @UW_Baseball on Twitter to track the action.

Matchup History
The Dawgs hold a 22-17 edge in the matchup since 2009, but are coming off four straight road losses after winning five of six just prior to that (three home, three away).

Scouting The Huskies
Head coach Lindsay Meggs has a re-loaded roster for 2022, featuring 23 newcomers, including 10 JUCO transfers, 10 true freshmen, and three four-year college transfers.

Thursday's game will feature So. RHP Jared Engman starting his ninth game, while So. RHP Calvin Kirchoff starts his eighth on Friday. Saturday's starter is still TBD. Out of the bullpen, So. LHP Bryce Armstrong had a solid weekend holding opponents scoreless over three games in six innings of work, giving up just four hits, three walks, and five strikeouts. R-Jr. Stefan Raeth has been lights out with a 1.43 ERA over 37.2 innings in 2022, with 58 strikeouts to just 9 walks.

With at least 25 ABs on offense, R-Fr. C Johnny Tincher (110, .320), Fr. OF Coby Morales (102, .326) , and Fr. OF Colby Wallace (27, .333) are all batting over .300. R-So. 1B Will Simpson (.278) leads the team with eight home runs, putting him in a tie for fifth place in the Pac-12.

Scouting the Ducks
Head Coach Mark Wasikowski is in his third season with the Ducks following a 39-win season that earned the Ducks a spot as an NCAA Regional Host in 2021.

On the bump the Dawgs will face a trio of right handed sophomores in RJ Gordon, Isaac Ayon and Jace Stoffal. Against Ball State last weekend, Gordon gave up 4 ER's on 5 H's with 3 BB's and 3 K's last Friday. Ayon gave up 1 ER on 7 H's with no BB's and 5 K's Saturday and Stoffal gave up 3 ER's on 3 H's with 1 BB and 1 K in 1 inning of work that same game as well (his only appearance of the season).

On offense the Ducks lead the Pac-12 with 51 HR's behind Jr. OF Tanner Smith (8), So. INF Brennan Milone (7), and So. OF Anthony Hall (7). They are also first in AVG (.314), H's (353), RBIs (244), K's (191), and SLG (.512). Among players with >25 AB's, Jr. INF Drew Cowley (45, .467) leads the team in BA followed by So. OF Colby Shade (111, .351). Fr. 1B Jacob Walsh is another bat to make note of leading the team with 45 hits and 13 doubles.
