Mathurin was a consensus all-American this season and was named Pac-12 Player of the Year in addition to Most Outstanding Player of the Pac-12 Tournament. He averaged 17.7 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. His 655 points scored this season rank as the ninth-most in Arizona history as he shot 45% from the floor and 36.9% from the 3-point line. He increased his production in the postseason, averaging 20.0 points across the Pac-12 Tournament and the NCAA Tournament. He finished his two seasons with 935 points and shot 38.3% from the 3-point line, and by virtue of being named Pac-12 Player of the Year, he will be the 31st player inducted into the Ring of Honor in the McKale Center.

Arizona has had 75 players selected in the NBA Draft taking back to 1948, the second-most in the Pac-12. The last Arizona players to be drafted were Josh Green (18th), Zeke Nnaji (22nd) and Nico Mannion (48th) in 2020.

If he gets invited, the NBA Draft Combine will take place May 16-22 in Chicago and then the 2022 NBA Draft is on June 23 in Brooklyn, N.Y.
