2022 Utah Football Spring Game: Fan Guide

SALT LAKE CITY – The University of Utah Football program is eager to give fans a glimpse at the 2022 roster as the annual spring game at Rice-Eccles Stadium draws closer each day. The game, which will take place on April 23, is set for a 12 p.m. MT kick on Pac-12 Networks.

With the event completely open to fans, below is this year's guide to know the when, where and what of the 2022 Utah Football Spring Game.

THE GAME
The spring game will take place on Saturday, April 23 with the team being split into two squads, kicking off at 12 p.m. MT on Pac-12 Networks. Roxy Bernstein and Utah Football alum Stevenson Sylvester will be on the call for Pac-12 with the game also being broadcast on ESPN 700 with Bill Riley and Scott Mitchell.

The game format will include four quarters, each lasting 10 minutes long with a five-minute halftime, a running clock in the fourth quarter and two timeouts for each team per half.

Gates will open at 11 a.m. MT for the start of the MUSS game. 

TICKETS
Tickets for the spring game are available on www.UtahTickets.com with all proceeds being donated to the Ty Jordan and Aaron Lowe Memorial Scholarship funds. Fans can also call or text the Utah Ticket Office at 801-581-8849. Pricing for tickets is below with fans also able to purchase single tickets by calling the ticket office:

Chairs: $22 for two tickets
Bleachers: $22 for four tickets

The Rice-Eccles Stadium ticket office will open at 10:30 a.m. MT on the day of the spring game, located outside of Gate B. All tickets for the spring game will be digital.

PARKING & TAILGATING
General parking on the Utah campus the day of the spring game is free and available except for those designated as permit parking in the east and west Rice-Eccles Stadium lots. While there are no designated tailgate areas for the spring game, tailgating is permitted on campus other than the east and west Rice-Eccles Stadium lots.

ENTERING RICE-ECCLES STADIUM
Fans can enter Rice-Eccles Stadium beginning at 11 a.m. at the following gates: D, J/K and L. Utah's clear bag policy will be in effect with fans allowed one clear bag no larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches or a 1-gallon plastic storage bag. Fans are limited to one clear bag per person, along with a small clutch or purse for privacy.

Concession stands will also be open during this year's spring game with a variety of options available for fans.  

2022 SEASON TICKET RENEWALS
After what was a historic and record-breaking 2021 season, the Utes are officially looking toward 2022 with season ticket renewals already underway.

The Utes will have a full 12-game slate with six home games in 2022 and with the new pricing structure for season tickets, the majority of prices will only increase between $10-12 per game while 8.7% of seats will actually decrease in cost.
